I’m Chris, an award winning designer that specialises in branding, web & UI design. Based just outside London, I work as a freelancer with Friday Design Collective.
I have twelve years of industry experience working with companies all over the world, from giants like Google & Samsung to numerous early stage start-ups. I’m the Founder and Design Director of FRID∆Y Design Collective, a remote team of super talented freelancers.
My most recent agency role as Art Director for Enigma had me wearing many hats, from providing creative direction and leadership on large scale projects to building briefs, presenting ideas and working as part of the agency management team helping grow the business and develop the Enigma brand. I now freelance full time and am best described as a bit of a design mongrel or ‘multi-disciplinary designer’ if you will. Although my focus is on branding and web design, I’m still heavily involved in UX/UI, illustration and print projects. An active member of the design community, I regularly attend meetups and conferences as well as participating on many social platforms such as Dribbble & Twitter.

Design school & training
I started out with a very traditional design education, studying graphic design for four years at Reading School of Art & Design. The courses were built around everything from layout and idea generation to motion and photography.
Last agency role
As Art Director for Enigma I provided creative direction and leadership on large scale projects across the team. As part of the agency management team I also contributed to growing the business and developing the brand.
FRID∆Y & freelancing
Friday are a remote team of super talented freelancers. I’m personally working as a designer through Friday as well as overseeing team projects and collaborating with UX, Motion & Dev freelancers on a wide variety of projects.

How much I charge
My prices are competitive and reflect my experience. I work on a value based model for brand work, please email me for my day rate for agency freelance or sprint based projects.
My life outside of work
Outside of the design world, I’m a husband, father and long suffering Spurs fan. I also enjoy many other sports, live music, and generally living an active lifestyle.
